Reserve Bank of India launched the 150 Rupee coin in the memory of Nobel Winner Sir Rabindranath Tagore’s 150th birth anniversary. The coin is about 40 mm in diameter and weighs about 35 grams. It contains Rabindranath Tagore’s image on one side and the image of Ashok Stambha on another side.
Sourav Ganguly who is best known for his powerful knocks enthralled the audience and specially his fans on Knights and Angels ,a talent hunt to choose cheer leaders for Indian Premier League’s Kolkata Knight Riders team when he sang Rabindranath Tagore’s famous number Ekla chalo re.
